Describe, in detail, the project/item’s construction.
Frame-less cabinet construction made out of 3/4 Melamine. All cabinets where cut with Thermwood CNC Machine. We also used Fraval Smart Edgebander.
What is the most unusual aspect or outstanding characteristic of this entry? This kitchen was not very big however, because clients required enough storage and really liked this framed look it created a challenge for us to design and make sure everything will fit and work according to their needs. Chocolate wood frame created a blind space in which we used magic corner and pull out pantry for easy access. Pantry to the right of the fridge we made roll out drawers as it was clients request to have some of their appliances hidden behind doors. For the main cook-top area we used over sized deep drawers for clients bigger pots and pans. Also with this project we learned the importance of confirming and finalizing all the colors. The client originally picked off white cabinets which really did not match with their white quarts counter-top. When everything was in place the color was matching with their floor, however, it did not match with the counter-top. It was a less expensive solution to repaint the white portion of the kitchen.
