Briefly describe your business and the type of products manufactured.
We manufacture a wide variety of products. Our main business is custom exclusive kitchens. Since we work with local home-builders, we also manufacture custom vanities, wall units, mud rooms, wine rooms, bars and millwork. Our goal is to make each project unique and satisfy our customers with the service beyond their expectations
What materials/species were used in this project/item?
Exterior finish was solid maple wood doors painted in “Easter Lily” color and glazed with “Espresso Glaze”. We construct our cabinet boxes from 3/4″ Maple Plywood which we purchase prefinished from McFaddens Inc. in Oakville, Ontario. Our cabinet backs are 3/4″ Maple Plywood, also prefinished. At exposed cabinet surfaces we utilize 3/4″ Maple Veneer plywood for case construction. We use Blumotion under mount full extension drawer slides and Blum European Compact hinges with Blumotion. Install various cabinet inserts provided by McFaddens Inc & Richelieu. Dovetail Drawer boxes are supplied by Distinctive Wood Products Inc.

What is the most unusual aspect or outstanding characteristic of this entry?
This project contains many beautiful custom features of Classic design. It involves of mixture of painted Easter Lily with Espresso glazed and rich chocolate stain exterior. The focal point is the over-sized chocolate stained hood with curved edges and heavy corbels applied on columns. To enrich the kitchen with classic design we added spiral columns, large corbels and dental crown moulding. Another unique feature in the kitchen are the two sink doors. The center piece was designed and hand carved by our wood carver specialist and the moulding was applied by our carpenter. Another feature that was done by our wood carver was the wall supporting posts. The center of the column was carved by hand to add that distinctive uneven texture. The glass cabinet has a decorative stained glass and glass shelves done by very talented local artist. Upper ceiling cabinets were left open with curved doors and metal mesh framed inserted.
