Gregory Paolini will be opening his shop in Canton, North Carolina (near Asheville).
Greg is opening up his shop in May, plus we have special access to tour some of our Associate partners in North Carolina!
Due to his reasonably close proximity to some of the larger suppliers, we’ve been able to arrange plant tours with some of our CMA Associate members.
We've shared the closest airports to each event, in case you want to fly into those particular destinations to take advantage of those events.
You are responsible for your own for transportation – If you're flying in, we definitely encourage rental cars and potentially carpooling.
Tues May 7th Archdale NC
1pm - 4pm Tour of Hafele, Archdale NC – Advance registration required
Recommend flying into GSO Greensboro/Highpoint airport – 30 minutes from Hafele
Or Charlotte CLT which is about 80-90 mins from Hafele
Wednesday May 8th Mooresville & Charlotte NC
8am - 11am Tour of Weinig HolzHer, Mooresville NC– Advance registration required
12pm - 3:30pm Tour of Blum, Stanley NC (Blum will be providing lunch upon arrival) – Advance registration required
Charlotte CLT is the closest airport
FYI It’s about a 2 hour drive from Blum to Asheville/Canton

The closest Airport to GPD is Asheville AVL – 40 mins away
There are hotels in and around Canton, but there’s not much to do in Canton after 5pm – So lodging in Asheville may be preferred
There are a ton of hotels in Asheville, and Yelp is going to be your friend here in deciding what works best.
However, GPD has had a fair amount of visitors to the shop who have stayed at the Holiday Inn Biltmore West and have reported back that it’s a decent hotel:
It’s about 12 minutes from the shop, and it’s about 10 mins to downtown Asheville (which has a bunch of nightlife)
