MK Designs builds custom cabinets and wine cellars.  Their typical kitchens average $35k, and the wine cellars average $13k. They sell most of their projects directly to homeowners, but also deal with builders and designers.

Describe the project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics.
The most challenging part of this project was achieving the specific rustic look the client had in mind. We ended up using reclaimed, knotty red oak that was resawn from beams from a local barn. We had to conceal an electrical panel, plus provide space for a sink, wine cooler, beverage center, and icemaker. All appliances were paneled. We used the same wood as a counter top and back for the adjoining mudroom cubbie cabinet.
