What is the most unusual aspect or outstanding characteristic of this entry?

his homeowner contacted us because they had cabinets which had excellent boxes and construction, but they wanted to personalize the space, make it more functional, and not have the stress of a complete renovation. The desk area was needed to be reconfigured, they wanted a range hood, storage accessories, and to enhance the butler’s pantry.
New cabinetry was added to the desk/oven wall. New uppers were made for the butlers pantry. New doors, drawer fronts, moldings, and other detail elements were added. The main cabinetry received a painted glazed finish, the island and butler’s pantry received a cherry stain.
List any items that were outsourced. In this project the items outsourced included: cabinet boxes as needed, constructed by fellow CMA shop Architectural Woodworking Associates in Frenchtown, NJ; doors, drawer fronts, drawer boxes (Keystone); pullouts/accessories/lighting (Richelieu supplied Rev-A-Shelf and KesseBoehmer). Backsplash was referred out to a tile installer.
Custom range hood and valance, island posts and panels, wine bins and butler’s pantry pullouts were made in house. All finishing, waterborne, was done in house.
