What is the most unusual aspect or outstanding characteristic of this entry?
Not just a pretty façade! This transitional kitchen design fits all ages and abilities. Having in mind our retired couple’s preferences for accessibility and space, we created a unique “aging in place” kitchen for their home in Etobicoke. Painted in-house by our artisans, this espresso-glazed maple wood kitchen is pure poetry. We integrated automatic lift-up mechanisms and plenty of drawers for ease of access.
This smart kitchen features the following innovative gadgets: down draft exhaust fan, a built-in vacuum cleaner, and a built-in light valence. Appliances are fully paneled to create modern clean look. We added pullout spice racks, drawer organizers and a more traditional custom-carved island posts.
Issue solved: Client is a retired couple for whom lack of space in their previous kitchen made cooking challenging.
