Lambruth Wine Room was constructed using White Oak solids and formaldehyde free sheet goods. Reclaimed wine barrel heads with purple side up for the counter top. Describe, in detail, the project/item’s construction. We use standard woodworking machinery, mortise and tenon joinery with dowel rod supports for bottles. Steam bent curved corners. Epilog laser machine to engrave numbers and words under bottles. What is the most unusual aspect or outstanding characteristic of this entry? A unique aspect of this room was the coloration of the white oak using a fuming and natural oil finish so that no VOC’s are in an enclosed and conditioned room. Laser in numbers under the bottles or inventory purposes. Curved display rows at end of the island to show prized bottles of wine. List any items that were outsourced. The painted tile was by fellow artist; room remodel and tile floor by contractor. How being a member of the CMA has benefited you and/or your business.
