Briefly describe your business and the type of products manufactured.
I run a custom cabinet and furniture shop. I manufacture custom kitchen cabinets, solid surface countertops, and millwork. I also build custom commercial casework.
What materials/species were used in this project/item?
The cabinets were build using 1/2" and 3/4" uv cure maple plywood. Solid soft maple face frames and doors.
Describe, in detail, the project/item's construction
All of the cabinets have uv plywood construction. The doors are 1" overlay Blum 110 degree hinges. The drawers are 3/4" material and dovetailed. The drawer bottoms are 3/8" Baltic birch plywood. The drawer slides are all Blum soft close undermount slides. The door handles are 5" Hickory hardware handles. The finish is Valspar Zenith waterborne conversion varnish. The stain color is a custom Valspar waterborne stain.
What is the most unusual aspect or outstanding characteristic of this entry?
The upper cabinets are 48" tall. The island has a full radius on the end. The end almost makes a full circle with panels to match the rear and end panels.
