Mahogany Reclaimed Chestnut Natural Leather Brass Accents Hardwood Drawer Slides Describe, in detail, the project/item's construction This unique Saddle / Tack "Horse" was built by combining hand craftsmanship with state of the art technology and equipment. Our C.R. Onsrud CNC cut out the main frame ends of the piece including the large dovetails. The round top was made using hardwood staves, hand planed and sanded to its final curve. The female part of the dovetails were hand cut as were the true tenons for the bottom shelf assembly. Hand made mahogany drawers with wooden slides are incorporated with the reclaimed, tung oiled antique chestnut drawer faces. A 2 part exterior finish -Euro X by M.L. Campbell was sprayed on all surfaces. The top is partially clad with padding and natural leather with brass tacks. Personalized brass name plates were applied and real horse bits were modified for the drawer handles. What is the most unusual aspect or outstanding characteristic of this entry?
