Briefly describe your business and the type of products manufactured.
Gaston & Wyatt is focused on delivering superior architectural millwork for the luxury residential, commercial and hospitality markets. Our capabilities are broad and we embrace the complex and challenging. We operate out of over 50,000 square feet of engineering and production space in Charlottesville, VA.

What materials/species were used in this project/item?
This Library / Dining Room was fabricated exclusively from cypress, primarily hand-selected old-growth cypress.

Describe, in detail, the project/item's construction
The highly complex room was the result of extensive collaboration between owner, architect, construction manager and us. Extensive shop drawings detailed every minute detail of the cabinetry, millwork, paneling and trim.​

What is the most unusual aspect or outstanding characteristic of this entry?
It's difficult to isolate one item. Certainly the scale and scope of the room demands attention. However, the execution of the many difficult curved elements in the room warrants mention. From the hand-carved capitals at pilasters, to the back of cabinetry to the circular entablature at the oculus -- everything was curved.
