We provide casework and other millwork for a variety of residential and institutional projects. The niche we occupy is grounded in our ability to design and provide unique products and then integrate them seamlessly into complex construction projects. This includes radiused work, utilizing unique materials from reclaimed lumber to custom cast acrylics, integrating outsourced metal fabrications and templated glass, and engineering and cutting one off CNC patterns.
Main Category: Commercial Sub Category: Medical Describe the project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics. Provide 35 cabinets, 12 radiused veneered panels, rolling cashier station, two round condiment carts, oval dessert serving cart, full size patterns of all curb and counter top layouts. This project had several unique aspects. The first was the level of CAD required. Our CAD draftsman Bruce Boardman was involved in the planning stage of this project two years prior to execution. The list of integrated appliances, steam tables, reefer units, beverage chillers, warming ovens, etc. ran to over 60 items. By proving full size curb layouts for the entire project, all the subs were able to get their rough-ins located correctly. Another unique aspect was the amount of radiused work and the requirement to create accurate offsets to get the passage clearances just right. After laying templates on the floor the client was still making adjustments at the 11th hour! We had a larger than usual amount of metalwork due to the environment and usage- see the round carts right of the salad bar and the bin flaps left of the rolling cashier station.
