CVR Colorado is a small custom cabinet shop located in Loveland, Colorado. Jim & Tracey, the owners, handle the business and design while 5 talented and dedicated woodworkers make sawdust in the shop. We do most of our own installs to keep quality control of the projects. Very little is outsourced while creating a wide variety of quality residential cabinetry and millwork.

Describe the project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics.
This Old English Pub style wet bar was built for a custom spec home. Rustic Knotty Alder was finished with a stain and glaze to find a rich yet slightly rustic look. Rusted metal corrugated steel panels were used to accent the front of the raised bar top. The bar top front rail is 8” wide, moulded from 8/4 beetle kill pine, painted and distressed to give an aged appearance. The top is complete with a beverage matt tray for drink serving. The fully loaded bar features a sink with disposal, dishwasher, microwave, icemaker and TV. The 6 tap beer station is complete with tap handles and was plumbed to a utility room behind the bar for keg storage. The raised liquor bottle shelf was bottom lit frosted glass and surrounded by beveled glass mirrors and Rev-a-Shelf stemware holders. The ceiling of the bar had old-fashioned tin panels up lit with LED lighting. Hafele LOOX puck lights lit the perimeter of the bar. LOOX Strip lighting accented the countertop from under the inside edge. It also lit the front of the bar from under the raised top. Ten handmade stained glass panels were created by one of our moonlighting woodworkers turned glass artist. During construction of this spec home, we found ourselves in between shops. This entire Wet Bar, with all of its parts and pieces, was hand-made and finished with minimal woodworking equipment on site in the home’s attached 3 car garage!
