June 22, 2018 Regional Event
Springfield, MO

This one-day educational event features forklift training and a tour of CMA member shop: Cabinet Concepts by Design.

Cabinet Concepts by Design was featured in the Winter 2015 issue of PROfiles.  Since then, Matt and Shelley Wehner have increased their employee count to 32 and also added a Biesse 3-head sander and edgebander, as well as an enclosed spray booth.  The  company was also recently profiled on CabinetVision's website.

The classroom portion of the forklift training will be a "train the trainer" session so you could go back to your shop to train the rest of your employees. Upon completion, attendees will receive their certification cards.  In addition, we will provide a basic overview of the forklift and how it operates. The "hands-on" portion of the certification process must be done at your own facility.
Registration is $55 for current CMA members and $125 for non-members. Student/Instructor members are free, while non-member students/instructors are $25. Registration includes breakfast and lunch.
We encourage you to stay the weekend for a trip into Branson, boating on Table Rock Lake, or a canoe excursion.

The regional events typically involve plant tours, educational seminars, networking, and simply a chance to talk shop and share issues, solutions and even projects.  Although they are dubbed "regional", these events typically draw attendees from across the country as well as Canada.
