DIYers and furniture makers can build beautiful furniture using Mid-Century and Danish Modern Feet & Cleat Attachment Systems from TableLegs.com

Everyone wants beautifully designed feet underneath their new or existing cabinets, case pieces, or upholstered furniture. But without an easy way to attach them you've only solved half the problem. TableLegs.com is now offering feet and mounting cleat sets that combine Mid-Century Modern and contemporary furniture feet with wood "cleats"—an attractive and sturdy solution to attaching feet to furniture bases; credenzas, benches, book cases, TV units, storage cabinets and more.

Each Feet & Cleat Set comes with:
• 4 McCobb Mid-Century Modern or Wegner Danish Modern furniture feet with heavy-duty bolts attached.
• 2 wood cleats that screw to the bottom of the standing furniture (industrial quality 1 1/4” attachment screws included), and the feet are attached to both ends of the cleat with heavy-duty mounting bolts.

Customers can order furniture feet in 5 heights from 4” to 12”. Wood cleats are available in 8 lengths from 12” to 36”. Cleats and feet come in a choice of 4 wood species—maple, cherry, walnut or white oak. McCobb feet are available with metal tips in 6 finishes.

Cleats are available both angled and straight. With angled cleats, the feet are lightly splayed for a distinctive Mid-Century Modern look. Straight cleats position the feet to be straight up and down.

The Feet & Cleat Attachment Systems were developed in response to customer demand for a better alternative to metal mounting plates. Its breakthrough design offers both a better look and increased strength and stability compared to other attachment systems. Since launching this line of products, TableLegs.com has received high praise from customers for the product design, ease of use, and versatility.

The underlying principles of Mid-Century Modern and Danish Modern are simple, organic designs built with readily available materials. This furniture was first conceived in the late 1940’s. By the late 1950’s, these furniture styles had risen to prominence and had become a staple in homes and offices across Europe and North America. Furnishings from this period are now enjoying a huge surge in popularity. TableLegs.com has since assumed a leading role in the design, manufacturing, and retail of these timeless styles.
