CMA Webinar Program: Making apprenticeships work for you

The skilled labor challenge continues to be our industry’s number one challenge. Although seemingly out of control, it is possible to have an impact on workforce development.

We’ve featured Kelly Victor-Burke on the pages on PROfiles magazine and she has been contributor on some of our previously-held webinars.  Kelly is the majority owner and CEO of Burke Architectural Millwork in Livonia, Michigan. Her company was struggling to find skilled workers. Rather than complain about the problem, Kelly created a nationwide apprenticeship program that has been registered with the U.S. Department of Labor.

During this webinar, Kelly will share more about the program and how your company can take advantage what she has developed. We will also hear from Becky Calwell from JFF.org about her team that focuses on the expansion of registered apprenticeships in manufacturing.
