Professional Bio
Hi, my name is Kevin Fassnacht, owner of Fine Point Cabinetry and Millwork, located in Northern New Jersey.
I began my career in woodworking while attending college, where I earned a BFA in Furniture Design. During and after school, I worked at several high-end cabinet shops, creating custom cabinetry and millwork for ultra-high-end clients in New York City. The experience and mentorship I gained from those craftsmen laid the foundation for my business.
In 2015, I started Fine Point Cabinetry, focusing on high-end custom cabinetry in the North Jersey market. For nearly a decade, I operated out of a 2,000 sq ft woodshop, primarily working independently. During that time, I adapted the business in various ways, including becoming a dealer for larger cabinet manufacturers, which allowed me to scale without taking on significant overhead.
In March of 2025, I took a major step forward by acquiring another woodworking business and moving into a 4,000 sq ft facility. Since then, I’ve added a team member and have been operating out of this expanded space.
My goal is to continue growing as a business owner, scale the company, and take on larger and more exciting projects. Over the next 10 years, I aim to significantly expand the business, ideally quadrupling its size and exceed my own expectations of what’s possible as a small business owner.
