Build expertise with the CMA
Success in the woodworking trade requires a combination of practical skill, creative thinking, and professional development. Membership in the Cabinet Makers Association helps you develop all three, offering ongoing opportunities for career growth through online forums, member events, seminars, and industry publications.
The Cabinet Makers Association was formed in 1998 by a group of custom cabinet makers who saw a need for a professional organization to serve small- to mid-size woodworking shops.
Nearly all CMA member operations are composed of twenty or fewer employees, with the majority of businesses employing 1-5 individuals.
Learning opportunities provided by the CMA have been invaluable as the business has grown, helping us as we have purchased equipment, added employees and taken on difficult projects outside our normal scope.
