CMA Announces New Board Leadership and Election Results

The Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) is pleased to announce the results of its annual Board of Directors election and the appointment of its leadership team for the 2026-2027 term.

The CMA membership elected James Fox of Fox Woodworking to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors. Also, Terry Steffey of Dibbleville Woodworks was re-elected by the membership to serve an additional three-year term. Their continued commitment to the Association and the woodworking industry will help guide CMA's mission and strategic priorities in the years ahead.

Following the election, the Board of Directors appointed its officers for the 2026-2027 term:

  • President: Kolin Veldman, K & S Woodworks (Lynden, WA)
  • Vice President: Amy Thrasher Price, D & H Cabinets (Lindale, TX)
  • Treasurer: James Fox, Fox Woodworking (Phoenixville, PA)
  • Secretary: Jason Norvell, Norvell Inc. (Slidell, LA)

The CMA Board of Directors also includes the following Members-At-Large:

  • Hans Parker, Board Foot Co. (Kalamazoo, MI)
  • Amy Jones, Bakes & Kropp (Mount Clemens, MI)
  • Terry Steffey, Dibbleville Woodworks (Fenton, MI)

As President, Kolin Veldman will help guide the Association's strategic direction while advancing CMA's mission of fostering education, collaboration, and excellence among cabinet makers and woodworking professionals. An active and dedicated member of the Association, Kolin has contributed his time, expertise, and leadership to strengthen both the CMA and the industry it serves.

The Association would also like to extend its sincere appreciation to Gregory Paolini for six years of dedicated service on the CMA Board of Directors. During his tenure, Greg served as both Secretary and President, providing thoughtful leadership, unwavering support for CMA members, and a strong commitment to advancing the woodworking profession. His contributions have helped strengthen the organization and position it for continued success, and the Board and membership are deeply grateful for his service.
