Established in 1995 by a father and son business partnership, today Danlee Wood Products is operated by brothers as a custom cabinet manufacturer serving the residential and commercial markets in the Forreston, IL area.

Describe your project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics.
Our customer wanted a special focal point for the large living room in their new home. They also wanted an architectural feature on the tall 14-foot ceilings. We designed a beautiful coffer ceiling that is installed in both the living room and the adjoining dining room. Then we paneled out their fireplace with wainscot panels and a custom mantle. This application had a couple of challenges. First, the fireplace was centered differently on the living room side, then it was on the dining side because the dining room was smaller. Along with the homeowner, and general contractor, we precisely laid out the size of the gridwork so that it would complement both sides of the space. We also had to find a way for the coffer to blend seamlessly and intentionally into the fireplace.
