Since 2009, Copper Canyon Millworks has been providing the greater Phoenix-area and state of Arizona with custom cabinetry for projects of many different sizes. Founded by seasoned industry-veteran, Sam Caprar, this Phoenix custom cabinet company is able to produce quality custom cabinets while maintaining speed and efficiency by transitioning to computer-aided machinery and employing lean manufacturing principles throughout the facility. Throughout their perpetual growth, Copper Canyon has maintained their commitment to providing exceptional service through open and honest communication, and are continually motivated by each client’s reaction to their finished project.

Describe the project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics.
This client approached our design team with a budget in mind, but needed help achieving that budget. During the design process, we were able to guide the client through their project, identifying any aspects that may drive costs up or be an opportunity to save. Through this process, we opted for painted shaker doors, giving the space a soft contemporary feel at an economical price. We designed a custom shiplap hood with a beautiful white oak accent that tied the design together with the rest of the home. These frameless cabinets are constructed of paint grade alder, and feature Blum full-extension soft-close slides, and Blum full-overlay soft-close hinges. The dark island paired with the chosen fixtures and hardware drive home the look and feel of the kitchen.
