Based in Loveland, CO, Colorado Cabinet Makers is a small custom cabinet shop. The owners handle the business and design while 7 talented and dedicated woodworkers make sawdust in the shop. We do most of our own installs to keep quality control of the projects. Very little is outsourced while creating a wide variety of quality residential cabinetry and millwork. 
 
Describe your project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics.
The biggest challenge of the project was that it was designed and coordinated completely remotely, from Germany. The owner was planning to relocate upon its completion. She wanted to blend the stylings of what she was accustomed to in Europe with an existing average 20-year-old home in the area. The design was a painted modified shaker style with some natural finish walnut accents. The kitchen included a Blum HF door lift on a frosted glass door cabinet. Rev-a-Shelf accessories filled all the base cabinets and drawers. Solid maple dovetail drawers had Blum Tandem undermount soft close drawer slides. The doors had Blum soft close hinges. Hafele LOOX lighting was used in the floating shelves and the under-cabinet lighting. The eat in island table was glued up from 16/4 solid black walnut. Her sleet European selections made her feel right at home in her new kitchen.
