2026 Wood Diamond Award Bathroom: Face Frame (11+ linear feet) William's Handcrafted First Place

Founded in 2016, William's Handcrafted is a luxury custom cabinet shop in Richmond, VA. Our team of 4 produces exceptional casework for discerning clients. We design, build, finish and install most of our own work. While we will work with contractors and designers, most of our business is direct to consumer. Most of our projects involve cabinets and another trade like electrical, plumbing, countertops, etc. As a licensed contractor, we are one of the only firms in the area that can provide a one stop solution of our clients cabinetry and remodeling projects. 

Describe your project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics.

This fresh farmhouse bathroom was one of several rooms completed in this project and is perhaps one of the only vanities to not have a sink base. The project centered around a gorgeous wall hung sin. Flanking the sink are identical his and hers vanities. In her vanity, a double deep drawer hides hair tools with an integrated docking drawer outlet. White oak shelving under the sink and in the open cabinet tie in well with other oak accents in the home. The linen cabinet provides some much appreciated storage. Since this was one of several projects in this home we were able to help dictate style choices to influence the overall design of the room. The vanities are a sort of hybrid style inset face frame look which helps keep the bathroom feeling fresh and modern while also mimicking the inset face frame style of other, more refined parts of the home.
