2026 Wood Diamond Award Living Spaces: Home Office Perris Woodworks Third Place

We are a 3-man custom cabinetry shop in Central MA specializing in residential cabinetry. I started it in 2020 out of my basement and we will soon move into a 4000sq space. 

Describe your project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics.

This was a home office project near Boston for a retired couple. The counters are solid maple, plank-style, with a whitewash finish. There is a built-in printer drawer, file drawer and charging drawer. Their condo was on the second floor of a large condo complex and the longest of the counters just squeaked through the turn in the stairwell by 1/2." All cuts had to be made in the parking lot, then we would need to get buzzed in, go up the stairs and hope it fit! Tedious install but came out nice in the end!

We outsourced the drawer boxes and finishing. Everything else was done in-house.
